Research Health Science specialist, Department of Veterans Affairs Military Sexual Trauma Support Team, VA Palo Alto, National Center for PTSD

Supported all research, monitoring & evaluation, and education efforts by the interdisciplinary team, tasked by VA Central Office to track the prevalence and response to Military Sexual Trauma (MST) nationwide.  Contributed to scientific articles, presented at conferences and on training calls, supported responses to congressional and media requests, and created and disseminated multiple federal reports.  Afforded the opportunity to work closely with the intersection of healthcare, research, and policy, and government functioning at the federal level.  Additionally, I served as the communication liaison for the rollout of a national psycho-educational effort between VA and NAMI, geared towards family members of veterans living with serious mental illnesses.

Pre-Doctoral Research Analyst, ReTirement & Your Relationship, UC Berkeley Retirement Center

UC Berkeley's Retirement Center asked me to help them conduct an in-depth literature review on what is known about the impact of retirement on partnership and marriage.

Read the culmination of that work here.

Research Analyst, Kidsdata.org, Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health

I supported the development of the kidsdata.org by writing multiple "summaries", or mini-literature reviews, for a number of child & adolescent wellbeing indicators.  They included aspects of: Child and Youth Safety, Children with Special Health Care Needs, Demographics, Education & Child Care, Emotional & Behavioral Health, Environmental Health, Family Economics, and Physical Health.
